For many years, Ms. Fannizadeh had been “absorbing children and adults” with her puppeteering skills, a religious speaker said on Saturday at a mosque where the memorial was held.
The famous lady has left a remarkable legacy in Iranian puppeteering by operating well-known dolls for children and adults such as ‘The Red Hat’.
‘The Red Hat’, otherwise known as “Kolah Ghermezi” in Persian, is an Iranian fictional puppet character in different TV series and movies.
Called the “Kind Friend of Dolls” in Iran, Fannizadeh cooperated in many projects for cinema and Television with Iranian director Iraj Tahmasebi, a famous figure in making films for children. Tahmasebi was also present at the Saturday function.
The popular Iranian puppeteer passed away at the age of 49 on December 28.
